He has served as an instructor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.

Dr. Keller has volunteered with Operation Grace, a mobile dental unit that travels throughout the Twin Cities area providing care to the underserved, and with Donated Dental Services, another dental group that serves the underprivileged.

Dr. Keller and his wife, Laurie, spend a lot of time with their children: Megan and family, Ben, Brian, Prentice and Orion, and David and Jenny. His hobbies include fitness, biking, and sailing.
